Today’s #kanji is #便, which is made of the semantic element of にんべん(亻) and the phonetic element of 更, although 便 and 更 don’t share a same sound. 便’s original meaning was apparently “a servant” but it does not have this meaning in the modern Japanese any more. Then do you know what that means?
