Today’s second #kanji is #見, which makes its own radical. However, 見 is made of 目 (an eye) + ひとあし(儿, a person’s legs), which I think indicates an active use of eyes.
Meaning: to see, to look
見学(ケンガク): a (factory) tour, a study tour, an inspection, learning by observation
見物(ケンブツ): sightseeing, viewing
会見(カイケン): an interview, an audience, a meeting
外見(ガイケン): external appearance
見る(みる): to see, to look; to witness; to stare; to look over; to check, etc.
見せる(みせる): to show; to appear
見える(みえる): to be seen, to be visible; to be able to see; to look; to come
見える(まみえる): to meet, to encounter, to serve
見本(みホン): a sample, an example
下見(したみ): a preliminaray inspection, a look in advance
味見(あじみ): tasting, degustation
