Today’s first #kanji is #旅.
In Kanji dictionaries, it’s listed under the radical of #ほうへん/#かたへん(方), which suggests some association with a flag and/or military. Apparently 旅 originally meant “armies gathered under a flag.”
The right side looks similar to 衣(ころも) but not quite the same, so pay attention how each stroke is placed. I have seen many people getting confused with 旋, 族 and/or 施.
