静(しず)か(な) – silent, still
静(しず)かにしてください。

Be quiet, please.

穏(おだ)やか(な) – peaceful, still
今日(きょう)は海(うみ)が穏(おだ)やかです。

The sea is quiet today.

おとなしい – well-behaved, obedient
おとなしそうな女性(じょせい)ですね。

She looks like a quiet lady, doesn’t she?

地味(じみ)(な) – plain, sober
先生(せんせい)は地味(じみ)な着物(きもの)を着(き)ています。
The teacher has a quiet kimono on.
