Question Words + も
I talked about Question words （だれ、なに、いつ、どこ）+ か in this post and today I’m going to talk about those with も. Adding か to a question word makes it into an indefinite pronoun like “something,” “someone,” etc. and adding も makes it into a similar one but with “any” instead of “some.” So “question word + も” is often used in a negative sentence.
A pronoun is usually followed by a particle and this も replaces particles は and が but if the subsequent particle is not は or が, も is usually added after the particle (see examples below). In case of the particle being を, sometimes も replaces を but it can also be added after を.
