This week’s #kanji is #情, which is made of its semantic element of #りっしんべん（忄） and phonetic element of #靑, although it is very rare to read 情 with the same sound as 靑.

Meaning: feeling. affection
Reading: ジョウ、ゼイ*、なさ
*Many Kanji dictionaries list セイ as a reading but not ゼイ. However, I cannot find any word which has セイ reading while 風情 is read as ゼイ, thus I decided to list ゼイ as a reading.

苦情（クジョウ）: a complaint, a grievance, an objection, a moan
人情（ニンジョウ）: human feelings, humanity, humane feelins, sympathy

風情（フゼイ）: taste, flavor, elegance; atmosphere

情（なさ）け: sympathy, compassion, mercy
情（なさ）けない: sorry, lamentable, grievous, miserable, shameful
