～ねばならぬ

Today’s grammar point： ～ねばならぬ

～ねばならぬ is an archaic way of saying ～なければならない/～なければいけない/～ないといけない/～なくちゃ/～なきゃ. It expresses an obligation (“must” or “have to”). It is old-fashioned but it is still quite often used in conversations as well as in written passages.
