Da-su

If I say ビール1ダースください, how many bottles of beer would I get?

The answer is twelve. If I ask for 2ダース, I would get 24.

ダース means “dozen” and as the Japanese language seldom distinguishes singular from plural, no matter how many dozens you ask for, the word ダース does not change.
