メーカー is the transliteration of the English word “maker” but the meaning is slightly different.
メーカー in Japanese usually refers to a large-scale manufacturer, not somebody who “makes” something.
If you want to talk about somebody who makes something, then you need to say ~を作(つく)る人(ひと) or ~を作(つく)った人(ひと) instead.
In case of “the Maker,” it is called 創造主(そうぞうしゅ/souzoushu).
