Making 3-and-half part sentences using verbs

Let’s learn basic verbs and start making simple sentences. Watch this video and the following verbs all can be used in the same way as shown in this video.

Verbs

なります

なります is a verb to express a change and often translated as “to become.” In this module, examples give are when the result of the change is a noun, like:

わたしは きょうし なります。
watashi wa kyoushi ni narimasu.
I (will) become a teacher.

いもうとは かんごし なります。
imouto wa kangoshi ni narimasu.
My younger sister will become a nurse.
